Ethos West Stage
This stage is brought to you by a donation of materials and construction from Ethos West Construction for which we are grateful!
This space is excellent for poetry readings, small music groups, workshops and lectures.
Available Capacity: mostly standing room, seating is limited, folding chairs, if needed, would need to be rented and brought in.
Size of stage: 10 ft x7ft with a 7 3/4” rise.
A piano is available.
Additional rental fee for concessions and tech staffing.
Rental Rates
New Prospect Theatre has several options for venue rental. Please fill out the availability form for a quote. Please fill out as much info as possible to get an accurate quote.
A word about sets – “Fringe Style” means your set can be loaded in and installed on the day of performance.
A word about Split Shares: Shows (Company A) that need to install their set days (or weeks) before the performance date(s) may select this option. If a performer (Company B) is willing to use the space with the set and props in place the companies can split the cost of the day’s rate at a 50/50 split. This is a win/win for both companies. Company A will save money on their daily rental but will allow Company B to set up and perform during the agreed upon times. Company B has a lower daily rate – this is an excellent choice for a set-less show such as a music performance, film showing, poetry reading, or workshop.
New Prospect Theatre is a non-adjudicated space and is open to all performances if there are space and timeslots available.
All we ask is please refrain from using glitter in your event. (Also, our Empress of Paperwork Margaret is not allowed to wear her parrot costume ever in the venue since it “molts”.)
Availability & Price Quote Form
Bookings are first-come first-served.
Space will be confirmed once the deposit is received, and the rental agreement is signed. Until then, we may notify you that there is another show waiting for confirmation and the first to put down a deposit will receive the time slot.
The exception is that rehearsal space and times are prioritized in relation to the opening day of the performance(s) and staff availability.
Once your timeslot is confirmed please provide us with the following so we can post your event to the website and promote it to our members & donors.
