Muriel Anderson Multimedia Show

September 21, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$20 – $45

Guitarist, harp-guitarist, and composer Muriel Anderson embraces music from all over the world with a sense of grace, joy, and gentle humor. If you’re not already familiar with Muriel, you will find yourself smiling when you feel the joy of her music shining through a stunning array of styles.

Muriel is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. Her CD, “Nightlight Daylight”, was chosen as one of the top 10 CDs of the decade by Guitar Player Magazine, and her “Heartstrings” recording accompanied the astronauts on the space shuttle. Among those she has performed/recorded with are Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Victor Wooten, Tommy Emmanuel and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra.  Muriel was also named one of the top 50 acoustic guitarists of all time by Guitar Player Magazine.

Muriel’s multimedia show brings you on a planetary tour of tastes, images, and music with a backdrop of stunning visuals by photo-artist Bryan Allen.

Muriel’s new theme is Optimism and her recent release is her new album and book “The Optimism Collection”.  It features music and visuals drawn from a huge variety of inspirations.

Her “Acoustic Chef” is a CD of music from around the world with a cookbook of recipes and stories to go with each tune.  Muriel is host of the renowned Muriel Anderson’s ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT® and founder of the MUSIC FOR LIFE ALLIANCE charity.

Advance tickets are available up until the day before the show and any tickets left available will be for sale at the door the day of the event.

You can chose a general admission ticket for $20 or a general admission ticket plus a copy of Acoustic Chef for $45 (a $10 discount on the book!) which you will be able to pick up at the show.
