These filmmakers bring the stories of underrepresented communities and cultures to the screen

to reflect the diversity of the human spirit, to present impactful stories that may be otherwise

overlooked and to engage audiences to understand the hurdles that underrepresented people of

color and those in diasporic communities constantly face. They will share their personal stories,

challenges and achievements in pursuing their commitment to tell these stories.
