To foster the creation of new works and emerging companies. New Prospect Theatre offers a 50/50 rental option and sponsors selected shows. This removes a major economic barrier to trying something new or getting a new company off the ground. Sponsored shows and companies agree to make their shows affordable by keeping their ticket price to $15 to $20 with a discount for students and members. This allows the artists to spend more of their time creating instead of fundraising and allocating what resources they have to creating the best show possible for the audience. New Prospect Theatre supports with advertising and ticketing and technical support when needed. The Community ticket program will help these artists and companies by giving audiences a chance to find them and experience their work as well as giving them the economic support to start their next project, and help The New Prospect Theatre offer even more of these opportunities in the coming year.In our first 16 months we have offered 50/50 splits to nearly 20 local companies artists and studios!
From companies such as Flooded Productions, Those Brazen Wenches, Little Lemon Productions, AMBAHAR Black Market Theatre, BTG Satellites, Unsubdued Theatre Cooperative and Sojourner Theatre Cooperative to local shows such as To whom it May Concern, The Robin Christopher Show and  A Very Queer Ballet. There are already over a half dozen sponsored shows already scheduled on the books for the remainder of 2024 including She Kills Monster, Alice By Heart, Bonnie and Clyde, and more!
