SUMMARY:The Lowest Pair (Full Band)
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Perfect Plan is masterfully crafted. -American Songwriter \nDuring the spring and summer of 2020\, The Lowest Pair (Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee) found themselves camping and sharing songs around the fire with two dear friends and incredible musicians Adam Roszkiewicz and Leif Karlstrom of the instrumental duo Small Town Therapy. Founding members of the progressive string band Front Country\, multi-instrumentalists Adam and Leif bring a new dynamic palette of colors to Kendl and Palmers own instrumental prowess and expressive lyricism. \nAfter sharing a handful of new songs and tunes\, (and making immediate fans in the campground) there was no doubt that a record was in the future\, and In August of 2020 they spent a week out in Enterprise\, Oregon recording at the OK Theater. \nThe new record Horse Camp leans towards each member’s string band roots and showcases brand new Lowest Pair songs Kendl and Palmer wrote during the strange times of the pandemic. The album also includes an instrumental by each musician involved. Its an awesome display of how a simple collaboration of friends can result in music that is as organic as it is undeniable. \nAdvance tickets $22\, Day of Show Tickets are $25 \nAdvance Tickets: The Lowest Pair (Full Band) in Bellingham: Dec 8th @ 7 pm (brownpapertickets.com) \n

SUMMARY:Wizard People\, Dear Bellingham
DESCRIPTION:Willikers! The holiday season is upon and that can mean but one thing: the return of “Wizard People\, Dear Bellingham”! \nCome watch as Professor Brett Niley performs his surreal one-man reinterpretation of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” as a live band provides the score\, a foley artist performs live sound effects\, and a heavily mutated version of the film is projected behind them all. \nIt takes the fourth-wall-breaking of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the schlock antics of Rocky Horror to delirious new heights. \nFor years a sold out event in Portland\, this show is hellbent on clawing its way into the wintertime heart of Bellingham. \n  \n$15 presale / $20 day of tickets available at the door. \nAdvanced tickets: https://newprospecttheatre.thundertix.com/events/218658

SUMMARY:Josephine\, a burlesque cabaret dream play
DESCRIPTION:Josephine\, a burlesque cabaret dream play is an international award-winning one-woman biographical musical that combines cabaret\, theatre and dance to tell the story of the iconic Josephine Baker\, the first African-American international superstar and one of the most remarkable figures of the 20th Century. \nAfter debuting at the 2016 San Diego Fringe Festival and winning the distinctions of “Outstanding Solo Performance” and “Best Show”\, Josephine toured throughout North America in 2017\, picking up awards and 5 star reviews at every stop. From there\, the show was selected by The Soho Playhouse in New York City to be part of the 2017 Fringe Encore series in October\, 2017. Josephine was then awarded the honor of the encore series “Outstanding Production” award\, and in early 2018 was offered a limited 8-week off-Broadway run at Soho Playhouse\, where it sold out performances and received high critical acclaim. For the off-Broadway run\, Tymisha Harris was nominated for a 2018 Vivian Robinson AUDELCO Award for Outstanding Solo Performance. \nTymisha Harris\, Performer/Costume Designer/Choreographer. Tymisha Harris (aka “Tush”) has been performing professionally for over 25 years. Her early credits include assistant choreographer and backup dancing for the 90’s pop group N*SYNC\, backup dancer for LFO\, multiple roles at Universal Studios Orlando\, and a featured role in the hit movie series Bring It On. More recent endeavors include the national tour of Rock of Ages\, a European tour with the innovative and world-renowned Pilobulus Dance Theater Company\, and founding member and Assistant Director/Choreographer of the successful Orlando based troupe\, VarieTease. \nProducer/Director/co-Creator Michael Marinaccio notes: “In a period of profound division in the world\, we are excited to present the story of a woman who broke boundaries of race\, gender\, and sexuality in a time before America had begun coming to terms with the concept of diversity. You would be hard pressed to find a more remarkable human being than Josephine Baker\, and it’s about time that this extraordinary woman has her story told.” \nTickets: https://newprospecttheatre.thundertix.com/events/218731 \n  \n
