SUMMARY:Action Fiction! Stories Performed Returns
DESCRIPTION:We had such an enthusiastic response to our last two Action Fiction! shows—and fielded so many questions about when we’d do another—that it’s time. \nAction Fiction! returns Sunday\, October 25! \nAction Fiction! is a live literary performance series where local actors bring short fiction by contemporary writers off the page and into the room. Expect surprising voices\, strange stories\, and the magic that happens when writers hand their work to performers with no strings attached. \nWhen & Where \nWe always start on time! \nFREE ADMISSION · RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED: Action Fiction! via ThunderTix \nBut why? \nGreat writing deserves to come alive in the room. \nLet’s admit it: great writers are not always great performers. But when compelling actors take on a story\, the words become something else entirely. \nReadings should feel like war and love happening in front of you\, not a museum exhibit. \nBy pairing original literary voices with compelling performers\, Action Fiction! creates a live experience unlike anything else in Bellingham. \n  \nFeatured Writers & Performers \nTom Altreu — performed by Dominic Santangelo\nGlen Hirshberg — performed by Carol Makela\, Erin Caslavka\, and Joel Simler\nScott Lambridis — performed by Joan Prinz\nAshton Macaulay — performed by Melinda Cumming and Suzie Mackay\nTiffany Midge — performed by Rebecca Mabanglo-Mayor\nJoe Pandolfi — performed by Dana Crediford\nJabez Richard — performed by Keefe Healey and Doug Starcher\nKami Westoff — performed by Joel Simler \nCome for an evening of community\, writing\, acting\, and creative surprises. \n
