DESCRIPTION:July 28 – August 8 | Ages 7–12 \nStep into the enchanted world of fairytales in this story-rich theatre camp. Campers will write their own plays inspired by timeless tales\, then bring them to life with the support of dedicated and inspiring teachers. The children will lead the creative process while gaining skills in set design\, costume making\, improv\, playwriting\, choreography\, music and vocals\, and live performance. DESCRIPTION:Skyrie blends traditional Scottish and Irish tunes\, poignant original songs\, tunes and soundscapes with modern influences from rock to funk. Having performed and recorded over many years with multi award-winning artists as diverse as Dougie Maclean\, Shirley Manson of Garbage\, Big Country \, and Kathy Mattea\, they have performed at diverse events such as at the world-renowned Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow with Dougie MacLean\, Dougie’s Perthshire Amber Festival\, and the Dundee New Year Hooley\, getting a whole town square up and dancing! And in such diverse places as Budapest\, Cyprus\, and the British Embassy in Kuwait. They also play for ceilidhs\, still one of their favorite Cyprus\, and the British Embassy in Kuwait.
