SUMMARY:Chicago The Musical: Teen Edition
DESCRIPTION:Beginning in 2018\, Little Lemon Productions (LLP)\, started by Adaryn Healy and Brody Buck\, worked to create a safe\, creative space for students by students. Our first project showed our student community that we have the ability and power to create meaningful\, fun\, and beautiful art together. LLP allows students from all schooling and performing backgrounds to learn and grow together. By creating this space\, we can ensure all students have an opportunity to shine in many different ways\, such as; Directing\, Stage Management\, Light and Sound work\, Set Design\, Music Direction\, Pit Orchestra Direction and Membership\, and many\, many more. Adaryn and Brody began this company with the hope that students from all the surrounding areas could have access to theater that is inclusive and empowering. As time has gone on\, LLP has continued to expand its team and its student outreach; it regularly has student participants from 3 different school districts and seven different high schools. \nTickets available  in advance and at the door. \nAdvance tickets: Chicago via ThunderTix

SUMMARY:Chicago The Musical: Teen Edition
DESCRIPTION:Our production of Chicago is designed to redefine the look most commonly associated with the show. Our Chicago shares the same story while including body types and gender identities that have previously been left out of the story. Additionally our show is geared toward what happens when women are in charge of their own stories. Chicago explores themes such as murder\, death\, pregnancy\, mild-sexual references\, infidelity\, and employs the use of prop guns. Please consider how these themes may affect you while making your choice to join us at the theatre. \nLittle Lemon Productions is a student run theater company dedicated to producing shows for students by students. Our upcoming show Chicago marks our first Repertory Program production. These productions aim to educate students on what a professional process looks like while implementing union standards. Our hope is that by educating students on what union standards look like our students are prepared to go into professional spaces\, and know warning signs of situations that violate their rights and are potentially dangerous. Little Lemon is dedicated to ensuring that money is never a barrier to a student’s participation and has been fundraising and working to eliminate tuition from the company. Your support and visit to the theatre goes directly to Little Lemons future. Our current goals being\, building a size inclusive costume closet and financial equity for our performers through tuition free show and scholarship accessibility.
